Whether introducing a student to theatre for the first time or building on prior knowledge, I meet my students where they are for greatest success. Utilizing the arts as a catalyst for self-discovery, my aim as a theater educator is to provide a safe space where youth can build self-confidence, gain a deeper level of empathy, and take risks with courage.
